The human body is not symmetrical: one side is different from the other. Consequently, no one has two ears exactly the same, neither in their size, nor in their shape nor in their placement on the head. In the vast majority of cases, a person’s two ears tend to be different from each other (a little or a lot) and may be implanted at different heights. Ear plastic surgery seeks to normalize, regularize and also symmetrize the two ears as much as possible and obtain aesthetically pleasing and natural results. Because the ears usually have an unequal shape and size, although the results obtained after an otoplasty can be excellent<\/strong>, it is possible to still perceive that the ears have been a little different from each other. Therefore, if a patient who is considering otoplasty surgery seeks total symmetry and absolute perfection as the only possible result, he should not undergo surgery.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

The two ears of a person are never and will never be exactly the same<\/strong>: the human body is asymmetrical. In cases where there are very exaggerated asymmetries that worry the patient, it may be possible to attempt an improvement through an operation to correct asymmetries, but knowing in advance that they will never remain 100% the same and that a slight asymmetry can remain forever.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>
